The Craft Club meet weekly in the St Laurence Centre on Thursdays 10am-12noon during the Community Café.

A warm welcome awaits anybody of any age who would like to cut, stick, knit, crochet, from materials provided or bring your own. You can even just come for a relaxing chat with a flask and snack! 

Judith who leads the groups explains, ‘We are recycling Christmas cards into knitting squares to make blankets and patchwork squares to make a large freestanding patchwork cross. Please could you donate any of the following to help with these projects: knitting wool, size 8 knitting needles, tapestry wool, complete puzzles and old Christmas Cards (please tear off the back of the cards)’. If you can’t come on Thursday but would like to be involved in the project, please talk with Judith or Joy who can equip you with resources to knit or make a patchwork square for the cross. The New Youth Group meets on Thursdays

It is for young folk in Years 7-9.

There will be activities, chat and snacks.
