Families are invited to our Family Fun Summer events on friday 7th August and Saturday 29th August. 

There will be games, craft, refreshments and activies in the church yard at Brundall Church, The Street, Brundall.

The Alpha Course starts on Wednesday 24 June and will run for eight weeks concluding with a Saturday morning session. The dates are 24 June, 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 July and 5 and 15 August (Saturday morning). The sessions starts with coffee and homemade desserts and the course is open to anyone who would like to come. The Alpha Course is a place where you can ask any question, share your views and listen to what the Christian Faith has to say about the big issues of life. It will be held in the St Laurence Centre which is next to Brundall Church.  Here is an outline of the course:

List of pantry items, please check items are within best before dates, thank you.
Small is beautiful! Large packets are so generous but people always leave them in
favour of the smaller ones, because they always think somebody might need them
more than they themselves.
Tins of:
Meat and meat products, such as beef stew, mince, ham, chicken casserole. Tuna,
Sardines in tomato sauce, corned beef, pies (Fray Bentos)
Vegetables, such as Garden peas, carrots, mixed vegetables, sweetcorn, mushrooms,
tomatoes
Tinned fruit in juice or syrup, such as pineapple, mandarin oranges, peaches, pears and
fruit salad.
Dairy products, such as evaporated milk, custard, rice pudding to create puddings
Starchy foods, such as tinned potatoes, spaghetti in tomato sauce, baked beans, ravioli
macaroni cheese

Youth Group meets weekly  on Thursdays in term time for young people in Years 7 - 9.

On Thursday 9th July, we are inviting young folk from Y6, who are going up to high school in September, to come along and meet the team and enjoy chat, activities & games.

Parent's should drop off and sign in their young person for this event.

We will have a churchyard work party and a church clean-up at St Michael's Church, Braydeston on Saturday 27th June from 9.30am - noon.

Our July Men's Group will be meeting on Tuesday 24th June at St Laurence Centre, The Street, Brundall.

This is a monthly meeting for men to meet, chat and enjoy a series of guests who talk about their life, profession and faith.

Our speaker in June will be Thomas Harrison. He will be speaking about his disability and how faith has helped him on his journey.

Come and join us for some May Half-Term Family Fun.

Craft, activities, games, refreshments & fun for all the family.

On Saturday 30th May 2-3.30pm

On Friday 31 October we have a special event happening at Brundall Church from 6.00 – 8.00pm entitled. ‘Light in the Darkness’. We will be serving free hot chocolate for children and tea/coffee for adults on the Rectory drive, a chance for families to take a break from the Spooky Trail to sit and have a drink as they did last year. Families will also be invited to follow the trail through the churchyard and into church where there will be a special light display. Everyone welcome !

Come along for snacks, activities and chat, for children currently in years 6 to 8. Parents invited from 8pm as we meet to gather ideas and views. The new Youth Group will start in September, meeting weekly on Thursday evenings in th St Laurence Centre at Brundall Church.

Everyone is invited to join Yare Valley Churches and Brundall Memorial Hall in a short act of remembrance to mark the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. This time of remembrance and thanksgiving will be led for us by the Bishop of Thetford, the Right Reverend Ian Bishop.

On Easter Saturday there are two family events happening in the parish.

At Postwick, The Friends of Postwick Church are organising an Easter Egg Hunt in the churchyard from 10.00am and following this there is an opportunity for children to build an Easter Garden to take away in the Village Hall.

In Brundall there will be Easter Family Fun on The Rectory drive from 2.00pm – 3.30pm and this will consist of games, crafts, activities and refreshments.

The Village Voices Community Choir will be singing, there will be a Christmas Quiz, a short reflection and seasonal refreshments. Please come along and bring a friend !

Join Christians Together on Sunday 8th December at 3pm in Brundall Memorial for their annual Family Carol Service. Everyone welcome, and please dress up in your Christmas jumper or as your favourite nativity character.

The Yare Valley Churches offers you a warm invitation to our Service of Thankfulness on Sunday 3rd November, 2.30pm at St Laurence Church, Brundall. A time to remember and to give thanks for those we love but see no longer.
