The Friends of St Laurence Church Brundall

St Laurence’s Church in Brundall is a small church with a big heart. As with all country churches it needs help in keeping its church yard and present buildings in good order and state of repair/decoration.

The Friends of St Laurence Church are a group of people who raise funds throughout the year to help keep St Laurence in good order and have fun doing it.

We arrange a variety of things for Brundall residents and their friends to enjoy on their doorstep at a reasonable cost. All ages and tastes are catered for and we have concerts, quizzes, teas, musical events, singing, talks, suppers etc. We always try and include food of some kind!

Brundall is a lovely place to live in and this can only add to our great traditional village life.

There is absolutely no expectation of church attendance or membership. All that is required is merely the desire to see our ancient village heritage preserved and handed on to our children and future generations to enjoy and appreciate.  Of course money has to come into it!  The Friend’s payment is £5 per person for the annual membership fee renewable on the 10th of August each year which is the feast day of St Laurence. We have an annual social evening as near to the 10th August as possible when we pay our subscriptions and enjoy a get together and glass of wine with cheese and pate. Come for a taster!

We are very happy to hear about new ideas for events and if you have any just let us know.

Please help preserve our village church by joining us. If the only thing you can do is join the Friends and pay £5 per year that will be an enormous help.  Application forms available in the Church.
